Andrea Stella who was Kimi Räikkönen's race engineer in Ferrari, got to cheer over the season's first Grand Prix -victory with Fernando Alonso on Sunday.
Räikkönen saved Ferrari's victories when winning Spa in 2009. Now Alonso opened this season's account of victories in the 9th race.
Stella agrees to compare these two victories only as similar emotional states.
– With Kimi we won in 2009 although our car wasn't anywhere when it came to competitiveness. Now we have improved all the time and are competitively closer to the others. In that sense the victory in Belgium was much more unique, Stella assured to Turun Sanomat.
– Only thing similar in these victories was the equally big satisfaction that they brought us. I remember best Kimi's victory in 2007, in the season's last race in Brazil. The feeling can't get much better than that, Stella assured.
– In fact all victories that I have experienced with Michael Schumacher, Kimi and Fernando have been very good.
Is Ferrari and Alonso now back in the WC-battle?
– If you look at the latest races we have been there all the time. Hopefully this won't remain as one singular victory. Usually it goes so that if you are fast in Silverstone, then you are also fast on other tracks, Stella thinks.
The Italian engineer admitted that Red Bull's problems in the pitstop helped, but that they weren't the only reason to Alonso's victory.
– At that point we got to lead the race but our pace wasn't at least worse than Red Bull's was. The updates we brought to this race worked as we expected too also, Stella thought.

Não gosto destas coisas de comparações porque não levam nada a lugar nenhum. Compartilho porque é um texto do Heikki Kulta e porque foi reconfortante para o meu ego de fã saber que Stella ainda guarda algum respeito pelo o que Kimi fez em 2009 por esta equipe. Especialmente em Spa!
Mas é claro, que ele deve ser um dos poucos, já que a maioria dos ferraristas simplesmente não gosta nem de lembrar de Kimi. É uma verdade cruel, mas infelizmente, é a verdade.

Ele ao contrário quis elogiar os dois... Bom, como disse, não sou expert em inglês, mas foi isso que entendi.
Fanny, não sei se o F60 era pior, mas acho que podemos dizer que os dois carros são igualmente ruins. E daí o mérito dos dois... e mesmo que o f60 tenha sido pior, não tira o mérito do Alonso de ter conseguido a vitória ontem.
Eu disse e repito, acho que Andrea, homem educado e doce que é, quis elogiar os dois pilotos e não comparar!

Flávia, a maior parte dos ferraristas não gosta de Kimi e de verdade, esta é alguma das maiores mágoas que eu tenho desta equipe, a forma como os tifosi do mundo inteiro se referiam a ele a partir de 2008 é algo que jamais vou esquecer.Em 2009, o que era inevitável só ficou claro, ainda mais depois do acidente do Massa, que ele se viram obrigados a ter que trabalhar para Kimi.Para o azar deles, Kimi venceu!
Não Tati, vc não entendeu errado. Ele não comparou para fazer um melhor do que o outro, ele fez sim, elogios, aos dois. Não é do tipo do Stella falar mal de ninguém, como vc mesma disse. Sem contar que ele elogiou Kimi, Alonso e Schumacher.
Sobre o carro, a minha análise é parecida com a de Stella. O F60 não era competitivo, nunca foi durante toda a temporada de 2009. O carro deste ano, tem pelo menos se mostrado competitivo, e aí está a diferença para mim. Mas isto não tira o mérito de nenhum dos dois pilotos, Kimi ou Alonso.
