Räikkönen hoping for dry race conditions 

Kimi Räikkönen is hoping that the Belgian Grand Prix will take place amid dry weather conditions, having struggled for pace during Saturday's rain-hit qualifying session. 

The Lotus driver, whose team decided to drop its Drag Reduction Device (DRD) after Friday practice, ended a damp Q3 phase as the eighth fastest driver, and will share the fourth row of the grid with team-mate Romain Grosjean tomorrow afternoon. 

"When it was dry in the second qualifying session we were fastest, so if it’s dry tomorrow we should be OK for the race; even though we will not start from a great position," Räikkönen told the gathered media. 

"The last qualifying session was wet and our car does not give its best in these types of conditions. Any lap which came right at the end of the session would have helped, but if it stayed dry it would have helped more. 

"Tomorrow is another day so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens." 

Räikkönen enters the Belgian Grand Prix second to Sebastian Vettel in the Drivers' standings, but even ideal circumstances will not take the Finn past his Red Bull rival.

O jeito é rezar por sol, porque putz... ver Kimi ir tão bem no Q2 quando estava sol e sofrer no Q3 quando a chuva voltou não foi legal.

Esta P8 foi desanimadora, mas se pararmos para pensar em todos os problemas de ontem, está até de bom tamanho largar entre os 10. Pena que atrás do Grosjean. #medooooo

Enfim, agora já está decidido, como Kimi falou acima, "amanhã é outro dia e teremos que esperar para ver o que acontece" e torcer por tempo seco!!! :)
