Lotus has an expensive load of work if they want to fulfill Räikkönen's wishes

When Räikkönen didn't show up on the paddock on Thursday, he was faced with a flood of questions after his practice session ended. 

Räikkönen didn't offer any big news with his replies. He has been taken to Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren while Lotus has tried to keep him satisfied in the team so he would continue. 

– My situation hasn't changed at all in the last four weeks. There's only more rumours and they claim that four teams are after me. I can't say anything more until I have something to announce and things are 100% agreed upon, Räikkönen said. 

This didn't however stop the flood of questions. 

If Lotus can't come up with a package that is required for them to keep Räikkönen, he is believed to go to Ferrari. 

The Italian media in particular is pushing Räikkönen back to Maranello. When Kimi was asked if he would be interested to go back to Ferrari, he had a reply ready immediately. 

– I still don't have a contract after the previous question. I won't say anything differently until I have it made up with someone. 

Then where would Räikkönen want to drive? 

– I have all the time said that I have a good team at the moment. I want all things to be in order. Once I get a place where everything is in order the way I want, and everyone is satisfied, it's good for me too. 

– You can always wish that you get into a good car, but since the rules change so massively nobody knows which team gets the best car on the track. 

Then would Fernando Alonso want Räikkönen as his teammate? 

– I don't know. Neither one of us have the option to dictate those things. It's hard to say. 

Alonso already said that Felipe Massa was stronger than Räikkönen during the two last seasons when they were teammates in Ferrari. 

– Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I don't have anything against anyone's opinions, Räikkönen snapped. 

Räikkönen is a driver with a high salary and the payments in Lotus haven't proceeded like agreed.

– Hopefully all things get cleared up. Until they aren't cleared up there is no reason to talk about next year, Räikkönen said.
