Vettel waxwork set for Berlin’s Madame Tussauds

Sebastian Vettel is to receive a full-scale waxwork, which will soon appear in the Berlin branch of Madame Tussauds. The Red Bull driver is only Germany’s second Formula 1 World Champion after Michael Schumacher and the youngest in history.

At present, the model is yet to be finished, with the head of Vettel remaining white in colour. When completed, it will weigh in at 36 kilogrammes and cost a cool 200,000 euros (£161,000) according to German publication Bild.

Vettel joins the likes of Lewis Hamilton, whose own waxwork can be found at London's Madame Tussauds. After seven rounds in 2012, he sits third in the Drivers’ Championship but just three points in arrears of current leader Fernando Alonso.

Perhaps to the disgruntlement of British, Australian and Spanish F1 fans in particular, the waxwork Vettel features his iconic finger…

Chique hein, Seb?! :)
