Sorry for the delay. 

I know that the topic has already been touched on here, but was busy with other things, try to recover a little now. 

The other night I was having dinner with Polish friends of Kubica. They told me that Robert still hopes to return to F1, but they also added that at present there is no certainty. 

Should wait. 

Then the Kubo fans have asked me my opinion on the relationship between Kimi and Robert's former team, in light of statements made by J. Villeneuve at the Montreal Grand Prix. 

Mah.... 

Jacques is notorious at always saying what he thinks, I replied. 

It remains to be seen whether he thinks to what he says. It seems a quibble, instead it's an important distinction. I believe, as I had the opportunity to explain here, that Raikkonen has had a positive impact to the worldchampionship, in light of his two years of being away. 

I don't find it surprising that the team is asking for more: in the end, after 7 races, he is still in contention for the title, according to figures in hand. And you can even assume that, without certain strategies that failed, he would be even higher in the standings. 

After all, the Blondie has never been a comfortable kind. 

He speaks little. Does not give himself readily to the publicity of the sponsors (I told you, once at Fiorano, he escaped through the bathroom window so as not to attend a convention promotion). 

I can well understand that he who gives the car, can be irritated by certain attitudes. 

But we are always there. 

To an observer, a lover, a lover of motoring, what's interesting? 

The diligence of a pilot's performances in commercials? 

The casual approach with the media (and here Raikkonen's, to express his will, is zero)? 

Or the passioned care about the talent and courage, speed and consistency? 

I have no doubts (and not just about the Holy Drinker). 

I was pleased to note that Kubica's friends agree with me.

Gosto de ler os textos do Turrini e vocês sabem o motivo. Acho que é o único jornalista italiano e ferrarista (o que é importantíssimo, já que o finlandês é visto como algo ruim por lá) que gosta de Kimi, então sim, gosto dele. Gostarei sempre, porque ele defende Kimi.

Mas ler esta coluna me deixa contente, preocupada e frustrada ao mesmo tempo. Tenho certeza que Kimi quer vencer mais do que ninguém ali dentro da Lotus. Ele tem seus motivos para ter retornado e tenho certeza que a vitória é o que ele procura desde o dia 1.

E aí entra minha preocupação, as coisas simplesmente não têm acontecido e com a temporada disputada como está, não sei se acontecerão (por isto, me apego à Spa). A Lotus, que sem Kimi não estaria onde está, agora quer resultados. Está babando Grosjean e cobrando de Räikkönen. Natural, se cobra do melhor mesmo, mas eu não gosto do jeito como as coisas são feitas, nas entrelinhas. Já vi este filme, e estou ficando realmente preocupada.

Exatamente daí vem minha frustração (e imagino a de Kimi), porque como diz Turrini, sem alguns dos problemas que o Iceman enfrentou, ele poderia estar em situação bem melhor no campeonato. Não podemos ficar pensando no que poderia ter sido quando falamos de esporte, mas é difícil não cogitar...

Para encerrar, concordo com o jornalista italiano quando ele fala que Kimi teve um impacto positivo com seu retorno após dois anos no WRC. E respondendo à pergunta do que preferimos, é claro que é a última opção, um piloto que se importe com talento, coragem, velocidade e consistência.
