2010 Kimi Räikkönen Special Week (Semana KR 2010) by Octeto Entrevista

Hi guys! The second post of today is an interview made by me with Federica, the Italian fan of Kimi who made the video I have posted earlier.

It's a good opportunity for us to know a bit more about another Kimi fan and of course to share some feelings. Thanks again for accepting my invitation for the interview Fede! It was great talking to you!!!!

Oi gente! O segundo post do dia é uma entrevista feita por mim com a Federica, a fã italiana de Kimi que fez o vídeo que postei mais cedo.

É uma boa oportunidade para a gente conhecer um pouquinho mais sobre outro fã de Kimi e é claro, compartilhar alguns sentimentos. Obrigada novamente por aceitar meu convite para entrevista Fede! Foi um grande prazer conversar contigo!!!!

1. Federica, tell us a bit about you. Where are you from? What do you do?
1. Federica, conte-nos um pouco sobre você. De onde é? O que faz?
Hello! I'm Federica and I come from Northern Italy, near Milan. I'm an university student. I study Communication (4th year).

Olá! Eu sou a Federica e venho do norte da Itália, perto de Milão. Sou uma estudante universitária. Estudo Comunicação (4º ano).

2. Since when do you follow F1?
2. Desde quando você acompanha F1?
I've been following F1 since 1997 and I've always been Mika Hakkinen and Mclaren's fan.

Tenho seguido F1 desde 1997 e sempre fui uma fã de Mika Hakkinen e da McLaren.

3. When and why did you start supporting Kimi Räikkönen?
3. Quando e por que você começou a torcer para Kimi Räikkönen?
I have supported Kimi since 2002 when he signed for Mclaren. Already in 2001 I appreciated him, I understood his unbelievable talent.

Eu sou fã de Kimi desde 2002 quando ele assinou pela McLaren. Já em 2001 eu o apreciava, eu entendi seu talento inacreditável.

4. What do you think about women interest in racing?
4. O que você pensa sobre o interesse das mulheres sobre automobilismo?
Today there are many women interested in racing. They really love the motorsport and are often more passionate than male fans.

Hoje há muitas mulheres interessadas em automobilismo. Elas realmente amam corridas e são geralmente mais apaixonadas do que os homens.

5. If you could turn back time would you prefer Kimi winning his championship with McLaren or Ferrari?
5. Se você pudesse voltar no tempo, preferiria Kimi vencendo seu campeonato com a McLaren ou a Ferrari?
I would have preferred that Kimi had won the championship with McLaren, because I'm Mclaren's fan and I loved his Mclaren's years. In Ferrari Kimi won his world title, but in particular, after Todt's farewell, he wasn't treated with respect.

Eu preferiria que Kimi tivesse vencido o campeonato com a McLaren porque eu sou uma fã da McLaren, depois da saída de Todt, ele não foi tratado com respeito.

6. The Italian media treated Kimi very badly during his last years driving for Ferrari. How is this treatment now he is in the WRC?
6. A imprensa italiana tratou Kimi muito mal durante seus últimos anos pilotando pela Ferrari. Como é este tratamento agora que ele está no WRC?
Nothing is changed. In Italy a few journalists appreciated him, one above all, Leo Turrini. Turrini writes on Il Giorno and the last year he criticized harshly Ferrari's behaviour.

Nada mudou. Na Itália poucos jornalistas gostam dele, um acima de todos, Leo Turrini. Turrini escreve no Il Giorno e ano passado ele criticou duramente o comportamento da Ferrari.

7. Outside Italy, I guess all Kimi fans always had the impression that the Italian fans didn’t like Räikkönen based on what was published by the media when he was driving for Ferrari. How is the image of Räikkönen in your country?
7. Fora da Itália, eu acho que todos os fãs de Kimi tinham a impressão que os fãs italianos não gostavam de Räikkönen baseado no que era publicado pela imprensa quando ele pilotava pela Ferrari. Como está a imagem de Räikkönen no seu país?
The image of Räikkönen was falsified by Italian media. He was described like a frosty and scorbutic person, not able to communicate with the others. The last year there was a daily comparison with Alonso and Kimi was depicted like an idle driver. However luckily there are many Kimi's fans in Italy.

A imagem de Räikkönen foi falsificada pela imprensa italiana. Ele foi descrito como uma pessoa fria e escorbútica, incapaz de se comunicar com os outros. O último ano lá foi uma comparação diária com Alonso e Kimi foi descrito como um piloto preguiçoso. No entanto, felizmente há muitos fãs de Kimi na Itália.

8. You went to Monza GP this year. Tell us a bit about it.
8. Você foi ao GP de Monza este ano. Conte-nos um pouco sobre isto.
Every year Monza is a wonderful experience. This year I went with my friend Katy to the walk-about. It was one of the best days of my life. I met Schumacher on his scooter and Mclaren's drivers. Hamilton and Button were so nice with Italian fans. Katy made a photo with Jenson, the pictures were even published on Mclaren's official website. I got Lewis' autograph. The race's days were absolutely fantastic, F1 thrills are always unreachable.

Todo ano Monza é uma experiência maravilhosa. Este ano eu fui com minha amiga Katy para andar no paddock. Foi um dos dias mais felizes da minha vida. Eu encontrei Schumacher em sua scooter e os pilotos da McLaren. Hamilton e Button foram muito legais com os fãs italianos. Katy tirou uma foto com Jenson, as fotos foram até publicadas no site oficial da McLaren. Eu consegui o autógrafo do Lewis. Os dias de corrida foram absolutamente fantásticos, as emoções da F1 são sempre inalcançáveis.

9. Tell us about the worst and the best moment you have watched since you became an Iceman fan.
9. Conte-nos sobre o pior e o melhor momento que você viu desde que se tornou fã do Iceman.
The best moment was Suzuka 2005, the best Kimi's Grand Prix in F1 (for me obviously). The worst moment was his goodbye to F1.

O melhor momento foi Suzuka 2005, o melhor GP de Kimi na F1 (para mim obviamente). O pior momento foi a sua despedida da F1.

10. Are you following Kimi in the WRC? What are you thinking about his performances?
10. Você está seguindo Kimi no WRC? O que acha de suas performances?
Yes I'm following Kimi in the WRC. His performances are encouraging for a rookie. He is so talented. Sim, estou acompanhando Kimi no WRC.

Suas performances são encorajadoras para um estreante. Ele é muito talentoso.

11. Did you use to follow rally before him or just become a rally fan because of him?
11. Você costumava acompanhar rali antes dele ou se tornou uma fã de rali por causa dele?
I became a rally fan because of Kimi. Before I read the WRC's news only on Internet and I knew drivers like Loeb, Hirvonen and Latvala.

Eu me tornei uma fã de rali por causa de Kimi. Antes eu lia as notícias do WRC apenas na internet e conhecia pilotos como Loeb, Hirvonen e Latvala.

12. What do you think Räikkönen will do for his future? Is he coming back to F1 or he’ll stay in the WRC?
12. O que você acha que Räikkönen fará de seu futuro? Ele voltará para F1 ou ficará no WRC?
For me Kimi will come back to F1, this is my current idea. One month ago I believed that Kimi would have been in the WRC, but Robertson' statements and Kulta's article on Raikkonen's website changed my mind.

Para mim ele voltará para a F1, esta é minha ideia atual. Há um mês eu acreditava que Kimi ficaria no WRC, mas as declarações de Robertson e o artigo de Kulta no site de Räikkönen mudaram a minha mente.

13. If you could choose a sentence or a word in Italian to describe Kimi, which one would it be?
13. Se você pudesse escolher uma frase ou uma palavra em italiano para descrever Kimi, qual seria?
Imprevedibile, in English is unexpected. Kimi is the man of surprises. His world title was unexpected, his choices are often unexpected.

Imprevedibile, em português é inesperado. Kimi é o homem das surpresas. Seu título mundial foi inesperado, suas escolhas geralmente são inesperadas.

14. If you could define Räikkönen's fans all over the world which word would you use?
14. Se você pudesse definir os fãs de Räikkönen ao redor do mundo que palavra você usaria?
Kimi's fans are patient and strong people. To be Raikkonen' supporters isn't easy, but the difficult moments are marvellously rewarded in the end.

Os fãs de Kimi são pacientes e fortes. Não é fácil ser um fã do Räikkönen, mas os momentos difícieis são maravilhosamente recompensados no final.

15. What do you think of a blog like Octeto Racing Team, totally made by girls? 15. O que você acha de um blog como o Octeto Racing Team feito totalmente por garotas?
It's a fantastic idea, the motorsport need of girls' creativity.

É uma ideia fantástica, o automobilismo precisa da criatividade das garotas.
