Trago um resumão da Coletiva de Imprensa do Fernando Alonso, após o lançamento do F10, novo carro da Ferrari para a temporada 2010 de F1.

Relação com Felipe Massa - Trabalharão juntos para a Ferrari e terão um bom relacionamente como foi com todos os seus companheiros de equipe: "Felipe and I both race for Ferrari, and it is important that a red car wins. I've always had strong team-mates and I never had any problems with them. I have a great relation to all of them and it won't be different with Felipe.We'll both give it our all to improve our performance, we'll both give 100 per cent."

Estar na Ferrari - todos os sonhos na carreira estão realizados e o desejo que continuar por mais alguns anos: “All my dreams in my career came true, now including the one to become a Ferrari driver. Ten years ago, I met Ferrari managers but, back then, it was about racing for a client team, like Prost. Now the feeling is different, I can almost feel the car in Valencia, and it's very exciting. I hope to stay here for many years because, if you don't win the championship one year, you don't have to consider to change the team.”

Alonso sobre F10 - há muito o que melhorar no carro: “Regarding its comfort, it seems to be more or less on the same level as last year's car. There's always something to improve in the cockpit – seat, elbows, pedals, which have a different inclination compared to the standard set up - while we've been working on the steering wheel mainly in November and December to simplify things a little compared to the past.

A importância do simulador em uma F1 sem testes - confiante no trabalho do time, que "tem os melhores engenheiros do mundo': “The simulator serves more and more every year, because the rules allow us less and less tests on the track. But reality is always different. However, I'm very calm regarding the work done by all the technicians at Ferrari. We have the best technicians in the world. The work we're doing in February, with Felipe's and my suggestions on the car, makes me really confident as far as the first race is concerned. We have a team that is able to set up the best possible car for you in a very short time. What raises our confidence are the technicians, the data from the wind tunnel, the suspension, the mechanics and the engine. It might even happen that the data on the track will be even more encouraging.

Expectativas para 2010 - todo início de temporada é interessante: "Every season is exciting and interesting at the start - even last year I was very confident. It's the same this year, although there are the expectations regarding [Michael] Schumacher's comeback, which is very good for F1, and which might be well received by TV viewers.

Luta pelo título - ficam dois times para WDC e WCC: "In the end, I think that there will be two teams fighting for the drivers' title and two for the constructors' title. Let's hope we'll be there, winning the title. I'm not making a bet here, though, as right now everything is too open.”

Após os testes será possível fazer um melhor julgamento do carro: "We'll have a more precise idea after the first test, although, with the petrol load we can put into the tank, we'll all have a different load on board. We'll concentrate on our work during the tests, without considering the lap times, and we'll see if we'll be satisfied with the car or not.”

Novo sistema de pontos - Alonso gosto do tradicional: "It's the same for all. Although as far as I am concerned, I'm a traditionalist; we're losing a little bit of the statistics. Today in the top ten I'm on place four in terms of overall points in the history of F1. The statistics will get lost over time, because the drivers will earn more points. But the sport has to renew itself and they decided like that because they think that this is the best possible way."
(Falei isso segunda-feira no meu post. Alonso andou pelo Octeto (rs) ! Se a gente tivesse combinado falar a mesma coisa, não teria dado tão certo. haha Mas discordo da última parte: geralmente eles não sabem o que fazem!)

Fim do reabastecimento e influência na corrida - classificação será ainda mais importante:"If you start among the top two or three that will be fundamental to win the race, otherwise it is almost impossible. With the old rules you could be fifth or sixth at the start and know you had a chance with the strategy. Now if the strategy is the same and you are fifth or sixth you have very few chances. Previously we had to take all of the opportunities to overtake in Formula One, so we know how difficult it is. This year we will have to continue to seize all the opportunities to overtake, and I think that with no refuelling and without knowing anything about the strategy, qualifying will be even more important than it used to be."

Sobre o seu ano na McLaren Alonso foi claro - o time tomou decisões erradas: "I think that 2007 was very different. We started the year very well, then we went to Canada and Indianapolis and the team started to make wrong decisions. So I left the team because I had the possibility to do so and to join another team which I believed had a better philosophy. Now the situation is totally different. We're a very strong team, Felipe and myself."

Primeira lembrança vermelha: A última pergunta foi sobre a primeira vez que ele se lembrava de ter tido visto os carros vermelhos da Ferrari. Alonso comentou que a primeira memória que tem é do GP do Japão de 1989 com os carros de Senna e Prost na naquela clássica batida. Contou ainda que na época, a transmissão de F1 na Espanha era algo complicado. Ele viu a Ferrari vermelha de Prost e a McLaren de Senna. Falou também algo já dito por em outras ocasiões: que quando criança todo menino sempre recebe carros vermelhos, fazendo alusão aos vermelhos Ferrari.

A batida entre o Narigudo e o Senna, ocm Prost na ferrai e Senna na McLaren, foi em 1990, e não em 1989...
