Abaixo segue a tradução de alemão para inglês da entrevista feita por Rob La Salle com Nico Rosberg publicada no excelente site Motorsport-Aktuell, indicado pelo Mauro Bauer, ontem, em seu blog.

Nico, sempre com os seus mocacins bem firmes no chão. Hoje, mesmo, li entrevistas “empolgadas” do Sam Michael e do Patrick Head, mas, parece que o garoto não é nada dado a empolgações. Quero ver se vai continuar assim quando os pódiuns e vitórias vierem. Espero que siga assim, “simples” e dado ao trabalho duro.

Pelo visto, ouviram minhas preces e estarei bem servida de material germânico este ano. Nunca esquecendo de agradecer, também aos deuses da internet pelos ótimos tradutores alemão/inglês que são disponibilizados na rede. Aliás, muito melhores que os que traduzem inglês/português...

We move in the correct direction. Franc came it never into the sense, means contract to sell. I find that positive. That shows me, how hungry he is to lead its team again to the point. And it shows also that it does not need the money.
I consider the financial situation of Williams rather healthy.

Is rank 3 in the technical designer cup a realistic goal?
No, definitely not.

But you have nevertheless when testing so strongly out-looked...
Test travels are test travels. I believe, in this centre zone become it lunatically closely. You can appear on rank 6 or are at one time only 13. And one should not expect that a team is BMW-CLEANLY as in the reverse gear.

Nevertheless you must be content thereby which reached progress Williams.
Yes, certainly. We worked over the winter marvelously, particularly in the aerodynamics department. We have a solid basis, and we have each quantity of developments in stock.

It gives with Williams as area for improvements?
Yes, definitely.

The Formel-1-Fans expects that after banishing traction control the drivers can bring in themselves again more. Is that actually like that?
Still much of the car depends. But the power density is so high that quite sometimes the driver can make the difference. I believe that in the past year already succeeded to me. I do not want to say, I alone made the difference, but I was certainly also a factor.

And which is now with traction control?
I do not believe that this so much changes. After ten rounds on dry course one got accustomed to driving without Traction control. I am not the opinion that this makes the pilot more important.

And which is when starting?
Ah, that is again something else. Here it depends real on the feinfuehligkeit of the pilot, and I believe, there we or other error will also see.

So far I would not go. There I would be somewhat more careful. It brings nevertheless nothing to speak about it. In order to make that possible, some cars must fail. That is clear a goal, clearly is it also possible, but realistic we must hope for losses of the Top teams, in order to reach.

And also that does not become simple, because one may not forget BMW-CLEANLY. We worked in the winter well. To the season conclusion 2007 about we lay behind Renault, now consider I us faster. But our possibilities are not unlimited.

Would you say therefore, 2009 are rather the year for more ambitious goals of Williams?
Yes. I regard 2009 as a large chance, also for Williams. These running universe wants again running to win, therefore we must work already today on 2009.

Simply said: What are your goals for the coming season?
I want to show simply a further good year. I was content with my achievement 2007, and whereupon I want to construct. I want to drive further so constantly. And I want to enjoy my work!

A word to your new stable companion?
Kazuki is very fast, knew we, otherwise he would be now also no master driver. But test travels are not everything, and it will be something else, if it must complete running weekends. I hope, he become a reinforcement of the team.
